"Do not waste your time with the big name tutor companies — Jeremy is better. I would not be in law school without him. He has mastered the LSAT material and explains it in ways that are easy to understand and easily applicable on the exam. I cannot recommend his services more."

"Jeremy completely changed how I approached the LSAT. Other tutors gave me a “you got this question wrong for this reason” approach where Jeremy gave me strategy to answer types of questions. He was also incredibly motivational, and unerringly advocated for my ability to succeed-even when I didn't see it. With his tutoring my expectations for the exam changed, and most of all for myself. Jeremy was incredibly honest about the effort I would have to apply to succeed, but that he was right there with me. I would not have had the opportunity to attend Texas A&M had I not been so fortunate as to have Jeremy as my tutor."

"Jeremy is an exceptional tutor. After working with multiple other tutors, I can confidently say no one matches his ability to distill complex material into something clear and actionable. He has a rare gift for identifying precisely where your reasoning breaks down — and he's turned the LSAT into a science. Trust the process, follow his steps, and you've got it."

"Working with Jeremy was a treat. Breaks everything down to the bones, and addresses all problems with a maintained formula. Each lesson had a friendly dynamic, whilst maintaining incredible productivity. As well, there are multiple LSAT mental hurdles that he was able to guide me through very professionally. The absolute best at what he does."

The LSAT with Jeremy Masterclass Study Guide

Every student I work with receives access to my Masterclass Study Guide — a structured reference covering LSAT mindset, study planning, argument structure, question-type systems, wrong-answer patterns, and the reasoning frameworks we use in tutoring sessions.

Jeremy LaRusso

Hi, I'm Jeremy.

I'm a UT Law student, a $75k merit scholarship recipient, and one of the most effective LSAT tutors working today. I've helped 175+ students improve their scores — and I've built a method that gets results whether you're brand new to the test or stuck at a plateau.

When you work with me, you're not getting a curriculum. You're getting someone who will find exactly what's holding you back — and fix it.

How it works

A structured path from introduction to mastery — built so every student gets the full foundation, then the focused attention their specific score needs.

01
LSAT Introduction (Session 1)
A 2-hour deep dive into the test itself. We cover the format, every question type, the structure of an argument, and close with Reading Comprehension — applying the same core principles to longer passages and RC-specific question types.
02
Question Type Mastery (Sessions 2–5)
Five sessions dedicated to the major LR question types — Sufficient & Necessary Assumption, Strengthen & Weaken, Flaw & Most Vulnerable to Criticism, Inference, Parallel Reasoning, and more. Each session builds on the last.
03
Individualized Focus (Sessions 6+)
Once you've had weeks of real LSAT exposure, we shift to what you actually need. You tell me exactly what's still holding you back — and that becomes the focus. Every student gets the full foundation, then the attention their specific score requires.
04
Review & adjust
Blind review, wrong-answer analysis, and ongoing calibration so every session builds on the last.
+
Beyond the LSAT
Getting a great score is only half the battle. I take a holistic approach to getting students into their preferred law school — including reviewing personal statements and application essays, advising on submission materials, and consulting on realistic school targets based on your profile. The goal isn't just a number. It's an acceptance letter.

"Jeremy is a phenomenal tutor. His guidance helped me get the score I needed to attend my dream school. What sets Jeremy apart is that he not only provides the strategies needed to get a top score, but he also deeply understands the mental and emotional challenges presented by the LSAT. He helped me stay calm, focused and cognizant of small details in the stressful test taking environment. His unique approach and supportive demeanor make improving by 10 points an achievable goal. I could not have done it without him."

"Jeremy is an excellent tutor and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to increase their score. I worked for a period of months (Nov. - April) by myself using only free resources and was only able to increase my score to 156, but with Jeremy's help, my practice exams were 160-162 with only a few sessions, final score of 161 in June 2023. I ended up getting a full tuition scholarship to the school in closest physical proximity to me, and that was exactly what I wanted. If I had worked with him more than just a few sessions I'm certain I could have improved even more. I had never retained a tutor for any reason before, and Jeremy is very personable and non-judgmental, making it an overall great experience."

Why I tutor — and how I'm different

I've been tutoring since high school. At Moraine Valley Community College — where I studied for two years before transferring to DePaul — I tutored across subjects, with a focus on writing and mathematics. By the time I sat for the LSAT, tutoring was already second nature. What surprised me was how much I fell in love with the test itself. The deeper I got into the material, the more I realized I could combine what I'd spent years doing with something I genuinely understood at a high level.

What kept me going was the students. Watching someone finally grasp a concept they'd been fighting for weeks — and then hearing back with a new score — is immensely rewarding. Knowing I played a role in changing the trajectory of someone's life is why I do this.

It's also personal. The LSAT was a door — one that opened into opportunities I'd worked toward for a long time, including UT Law. I know what it means to need this test to go right. That's not something I forget when I'm sitting across from a student.

The pattern is consistent: improvement comes from understanding your errors, not grinding more practice tests. I find what's actually holding you back — and we fix it.

Diagnosis before drilling — understand the error before assigning more practice
Logical Reasoning is a skill, not a trick — it can be systematically improved
Timing problems are often comprehension problems in disguise
Blind review is the most underused tool in LSAT prep
Every student learns differently — there's no single curriculum that works for everyone

FAQ

Common questions

Everything you need to know before booking — answered directly.

How is this different from a prep course or self-studying?
Prep courses teach broad concepts. I focus on the specific reasoning mistake you are making when you choose the wrong answer. That means we spend less time on generic drilling and more time identifying the assumption you missed, the trap answer you accepted, the flaw pattern you misread, or the timing habit that is costing you points.
I've already been studying on my own and I'm plateauing. Can you actually help?
Plateaus are where I do my best work. They almost always come from a misapplication or misunderstanding of the material — not a lack of effort. I work to isolate exactly where your reasoning breaks down and address it at the root, not the surface. Every relevant concept gets broken down to its foundation, and we don't move on until the underlying logic is solid. Students who come in plateaued tend to move quickly once the right thing gets fixed.
How quickly will I see improvement?
Often right away. A lot of what makes the LSAT feel impossible has straightforward explanations — once you hear them, you can't unhear them. Some concepts click immediately; others, like sufficient and necessary assumption or formal logic, take more time to fully internalize. Either way, you'll leave every session with something concrete and actionable.
Is this right for me if I'm brand new to the LSAT?
Absolutely. The first session is built specifically to orient new students — we cover the format, the question types, and the core reasoning skills the test actually measures. You don't need to have studied anything beforehand. Coming in without bad habits is sometimes an advantage.
What does a typical session look like?
Each session opens with whatever questions you've brought from your own studying — nothing is off the table. From there, we work through the material you're struggling with most, whether that's a specific question type, a timing issue, or a section you've been avoiding. The structure flexes based on where you're stuck. If one area needs the full session, that's where we go.
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are over Zoom. All you need is a stable internet connection and a device with a screen.
What are your availability and hours?
I tutor full-time and am generally available Monday through Friday, 10am–8pm CST. If you need something outside those hours, reach out — off-hour sessions are available at a different rate.
Do I need anything before our first session?
Yes — all students are required to purchase a LawHub Advantage subscription. This gives you access to every previously administered LSAT, which is the primary resource we work from. It's the official LSAC platform and far more useful than any third-party prep material.
What is your refund policy?
Packages are non-refundable once sessions begin. That said, if you're not satisfied after your first session, let me know within 24 hours and you won't be charged for it. I'd rather earn your continued enrollment than keep a fee.
