Jeremy LaRusso

Hi, I'm Jeremy.

I'm a UT Law student, a $75k merit scholarship recipient, and one of the most effective LSAT tutors working today. I've helped 175+ students improve their scores — and I've built a method that gets results whether you're brand new to the test or stuck at a plateau.

When you work with me, you're not getting a curriculum. You're getting someone who will find exactly what's holding you back — and fix it.

How it works

A structured path from introduction to mastery — built so every student gets the full foundation, then the focused attention their specific score needs. And it doesn't stop at the LSAT.

01
LSAT Introduction (Session 1)
A 2-hour deep dive into the test itself. We cover the format, every question type, the structure of an argument, and close with Reading Comprehension — applying the same core principles to longer passages and RC-specific question types.
02
Question Type Mastery (Sessions 2–6)
Five sessions dedicated to the major LR question types — Sufficient & Necessary Assumption, Strengthen & Weaken, Flaw & Most Vulnerable to Criticism, Inference, Parallel Reasoning, and more. Each session builds on the last.
03
Individualized Focus (Sessions 7+)
Once you've had weeks of real LSAT exposure, we shift to what you actually need. You tell me exactly what's still holding you back — and that becomes the focus. Every student gets the full foundation, then the attention their specific score requires.
04
Review & adjust
Blind review, wrong-answer analysis, and ongoing calibration so every session builds on the last.

Beyond the LSAT
Getting a great score is only half the battle. I take a holistic approach to getting students into their preferred law school — including reviewing personal statements and application essays, advising on submission materials, and consulting on realistic school targets based on your profile. The goal isn't just a number. It's an acceptance letter.

Why I tutor — and how I'm different

I became an LSAT tutor because I care deeply about helping students reach outcomes that genuinely change their lives. Law school opens doors — and the LSAT is often the only thing standing between a student and their goals. I've been through it. I know what it costs you, and I know what it's worth.

My approach is built around diagnosis first. Students come to me at every stage — some brand new to the test, some who've worked with other tutors, some who've been drilling for months. What they have in common is that they do better once we work together, because I find exactly what's holding them back and fix it.

I'm a current UT Law student, which means I understand the application process, the stakes of your score, and the kind of reasoning skills that actually matter on the other side of the test. I'm not reciting a curriculum — I'm sharing how I think about these problems.

What I've found across every student I've worked with: improvement comes from understanding your error patterns, not from doing more practice tests. When we name the problem, we can fix it.

Diagnosis before drilling — understand the error before assigning more practice
Logical Reasoning is a skill, not a trick — it can be systematically improved
Timing problems are often comprehension problems in disguise
Blind review is the most underused tool in LSAT prep
Every student learns differently — there's no single curriculum that works for everyone
Pricing & Programs

Invest in your score

All packages begin with a free diagnostic consultation. Pricing reflects the personalized, premium nature of one-on-one coaching.

No platform. No markup. No compromise.

Tutoring platforms and prep companies charge premium rates — and pay their tutors a fraction of it. Here, you're working directly with the tutor. That means no middleman markup, and no filtering through a company that doesn't know your name. The tutors those platforms sell you vary wildly in quality. There's no variance here.

FAQ

Common questions

Everything you need to know before booking — answered directly.

Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are conducted over Zoom. All you need is a stable internet connection and a device with a screen — no software installs required.
What does a typical session look like?
Each session opens with whatever questions you've brought from your own studying — nothing is off the table. From there, we typically split the remaining time between Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. That said, the structure flexes based on where you're stuck. If one area needs the full session, that's where we go.
How quickly will I see improvement?
Often right away. A lot of what makes the LSAT feel impossible has straightforward explanations — once you hear them, you can't unhear them. Some concepts click immediately; others, like sufficient and necessary assumption or formal logic, take more time to fully internalize. Either way, you'll leave every session with something actionable.
Is this right for me if I'm brand new to the LSAT?
Absolutely. My approach is designed to work whether you've never looked at the test before or you've been studying for months. The first session is built specifically to orient new students — we cover the format, the question types, and the core reasoning skills the test actually measures.
What are your availability and hours?
I tutor full-time and am generally available Monday through Friday, 10am–8pm. If you need something outside those hours, reach out — off-hour sessions are available at a different rate.
Do I need anything before our first session?
Yes — all students are required to purchase a LawHub Advantage subscription. This gives you access to every previously administered LSAT, which is the primary resource we work from. It's the official LSAC platform and an essential part of prep.
What is your refund policy?
Packages are non-refundable once sessions begin. However, if you're not satisfied after your first session, let me know within 24 hours and you won't be charged for it. I stand behind the quality of every session — and I'd rather earn your continued enrollment than keep a fee.

Tutor Network Application

We're selectively building a team of tutors trained in the same diagnostic method that drives our student results.

Requirements

Every tutor in our network is trained in the diagnostic approach. We don't just hire high scorers — we look for people who can teach reasoning, not just model it.

High LSAT score

A strong personal score is the baseline — ideally 168+ or demonstrated exceptional performance.

Teaching ability

Can you explain your reasoning clearly to someone who thinks differently? That's the core skill we're hiring for.

Reliability

Students are counting on consistency. We need tutors who show up, communicate, and follow through.

Law school experience

Current law students or recent grads preferred — your perspective on the full process adds value for students.
